Brenda Howard 

Talent Submissions Coordinator - PR - Marketing & Media Relations Manager 

Nashville Recording Artist, Carnegie Hall Performer, Singer/Songwriter, Producer and Multi-instrumentalist, Brenda Howard brings her extensive musical talents, multi-genre background and business experience to the exclusive Composer's Ink NASHVILLE Registered and Protected Record Label as Talent Submissions Coordinator along with specializing in PR-Marketing and Media Relations.

Working in alliance with  Howard Media, Brenda specializes in keeping the public informed of every aspect of Composer's Ink NASHVILLE Record Label including Signed Artists, Showcase Artists, New Song, Album and Music Video Releases. Through Product Promotion and Advertising, Brenda interacts with Reporters & Journalists, Writing Press Releases, and Interviews through Television, Radio and Internet Media.

 

 

Brenda is classically trained and studied Flute with internationally known Flutist, Composer and Teacher, Mr. Robert Cavally and studied music performance at the Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music with scholarships from Northern Kentucky University and ensemble performances with the Cavally Flute Choir and Flute ensembles at Xavier University.

Brenda is an original independent  artist with national song releases and multiple albums to her credit and counting. Her albums include her newest recorded in Nashville, Music City U.S.A  featuring all Grand Ole Opry Star Musicians backing up Brenda's Vocals and Original Songs also Flute instrumental with full orchestra, Native American music featuring her collection of Native American Flutes, and her latest album titled "What If?" which showcases Brenda Howard on Vocals, Rhythm Guitar, Flute and Native American Flutes with national touring artists.

Ms. Howard has performed countless featured artist concerts throughout the U.S. and even Central America.

She has been the featured artist of the Gatlinburg Fine Arts Festival in Tennessee, the largest festival in the country to taking the main stage of Carnegie Hall in New York City.

 

Brenda has held principal chairs on Flute in symphony orchestras in Kentucky and Dayton Ohio where she was also principal Piccoloist.

​

She has organized and performed in her own bands and instrumental ensembles delighting audiences throughout the greater Cincinnati area where she was asked to be a part of the "Concerts in the Parks" summer music series at the Historic Golden Lamb in Lebanon Ohio.

​

Brenda's ensembles were well thought of, professionally entertaining, and drew sizable crowds.

Because of the successes of her ensembles, Brenda's woodwind quintet, "Suite Consonance" had the honor of opening for the Cincinnati Pops.

​

Brenda taught flute for several years from her private music studio in Northern Kentucky and shared in the successes of her students as they attained scholarships to study music at University.

She taught masterclasses at the Southeast Missouri State University summer music camps and conducted ensembles and masterclasses in private, public and Montessori schools throughout the greater Cincinnati area including Northern Kentucky.

​

With flute in hand along with the other multiple instruments she and her husband regularly performed, Brenda became certified in woodwind instrument repair.  As a NAPBIRT certified repair technician, (National Association of Professional Band Instrument Repair Technicians), Brenda was a private contractor for the Foothills Music store in  Tennessee and repair tech for 3 high schools.

​

After relocating, Brenda opened Top Shelf Flutes in Kentucky specializing in complete overhauls of flutes and other woodwinds providing repair service for local high schools and universities. 

Ms. Howard has put her extensive marketing and business skills to work in many areas of her life.

​

Now, as a Nashville recording artist and exclusive label artist with Composer's Ink NASHVILLE, Brenda is works to open doors for other independent, original, artists and instrumentalists in an honest, forthright and respectable way.
